As part of this research program, Thin-Film Lithium Tantalate modulator chips will be developed by Guillermo Villanueva Associate Professor of the Advanced Nano-electromechanical Systems Laboratory at EPFL in close collaboration with Miraex. These chips will be designed to operate under cryogenic conditions and will involve a close collaboration with our academic partners Swiss PIC, PSI, FHNW and the Zurich based startup ZuriQ.
